Dear Readers of The Family Local

We want to let you know of our plans for The Family Local.

We have put a lot of thought into the future of the magazine and have not come to this decision lightly nevertheless we have decided to take a break from publishing our magazine so with immediate effect we will cease to publish The Family Local.

The magazine has been a great success over the past 3 years and we wanted to thank you for your support.

For the first 2 years the magazine did pay for itself but it hasn't lately, we have been unable to attract the amount of advertisers we need to sustain a cost effective magazine, mainly due to our other work commitments and we do not have the time to really push it forward, maybe in the future we can look at it again, we do have an idea of going online and readers subscribe, therefore taking the emphasise off high advertising costs, but we'll see how that goes in the future.
